About the role

Prepseed ships AI-first, white-labeled software and custom systems for education, retail, real estate, and operations.

As QA Engineer, you sit with the delivery team in Ahmedabad and make sure what we demo is what clients can run in production.

This role is on-site. You'll work closely with engineers, designers, and delivery on weekly release cycles.

What you'll do

Test web and mobile flows across Prepseed products and client builds before demos and go-lives.
Write clear, reproducible bug reports with steps, expected vs actual behaviour, and evidence.
Build and maintain smoke / regression checklists for recurring releases.
Validate fixes and re-test edge cases across browsers and devices used by clients.
Partner with engineering and delivery to prioritise defects and protect release quality.
Flag UX and data inconsistencies early — not only hard crashes.

What we're looking for

1–3+ years of hands-on QA experience on web products (fresher with strong projects welcome).
Comfortable with manual and exploratory testing of multi-step business workflows.
Clear written communication for bug reports and release notes.
Basic familiarity with browser DevTools and filing issues in tools like Jira / Linear / GitHub.
Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, full-time, with the delivery team.
Detail-oriented mindset and willingness to own release readiness.

Nice to have

Exposure to API testing (Postman) or basic automation (Playwright / Cypress).
Experience testing education, CRM, ERP, or ops-heavy products.
Familiarity with mobile web / responsive QA.
Understanding of staging vs production environments.
